Bootcamper of the Month

Bootcamper of the Month

Bootcamper of the Month – Hannah Rich

1.  How long have you been coming to PhysicallyFit?

I started doing Bootcamp at PhysicallyFit in November 2017, so it’s been about 2.5 years.

2.  What were your goals when you started?

My mom pretty much pushed me to get in better shape and lose weight.

3.  What results have you seen in yourself?  What have others seen?

I have seen many results in myself. I lost forty pounds plus since I started doing bootcamp! I am in much better shape, better than ever, and I am much happier and more positive since losing the weight. I always get compliments on how good I look from people I haven’t seen in a while, and even from the people I see on a regular basis. It’s the best feeling and what keeps me going every single day!

4.  What is your biggest motivator?

My biggest motivators are the people who surround me at bootcamp and the people who I surround myself with at bootcamp….the people who motivate me to do my best on a regular basis and if I’m not at bootcamp are wondering where I am. The regulars on Mondays and Fridays include: Tammy, both Janel’s, both Laura’s, Donna, Christine, Hailey, Robin, Terri, Ice, Joe, Andrew and, of course, Eamon.  And Wednesdays, Nicki and Anndee! And, of course, I can’t forget my biggest motivator….. Jodi!!!

5.  What accomplishments have you achieved inside and outside of bootcamp? (i.e., Bootcamp workout schedule, exercises you couldn’t do before, outside exercise habits or activities, nutrition habits, races, etc.)

Some accomplishments I have achieved outside of bootcamp: participating in the Gauntlet Run, changing my nutrition habits and of course losing the forty pounds. I couldn’t have lost the weight just by exercising. I had to change my nutrition habits too which I continue to work on everyday. I try and stick to those nutrition habits which is how I have kept the weight off for a year now. Inside of bootcamp, I am able to do a full burpee now, meaning going all the way to the ground. When I first started, I wasn’t able to go all the way to the ground and now I can, so I’m very pleased with that!

6.  What are your goals going forward?

I want to maintain my weight, keep exercising, and get prepared for the next Gauntlet run!!!

7.  What does being nominated for Bootcamper of the Month mean to you?

Being nominated Bootcamper of the Month means a lot to me. It means that the hard work that I have put in has paid off and that people have noticed, which in the end, is the best feeling!! It gives me the confidence to come to bootcamp and work my butt off with the people I love working out with. I would like to thank Jodi and Chris for nominating me, it truly means a lot!
